The St. George church, built in 1836-1837, is located in the former Renaissance district of the town of Oryahovo.
The temple is a three-nave basilica with an octagonal drum. During its reconstruction in 1928, the vestibule was destroyed and a new emporium was built. The exonarthex from the north is closed and joined with the naos under a common roof.
The murals date back to 1928, painted by an unknown author. The iconostasis is of the table type, polychromed, gilded, with three stages of paining.
During the 1980s, the building was reconstructed. In 2007, the iconostasis and part of the murals were restored.
